Chris Murphy
Chris Murphy honed his Executive Leadership skills in the Chemicals Industry at DuPont, SABIC, and Dow Chemical. Most recently, Chris served as President and CEO at Materia, Inc, where he helped lead a successful strategic divestiture to ExxonMobil Chemical. Chris is a Chemical Engineer from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and is excited to merge his experience in launching new technologies with his passion for environmental sustainability solutions.

Casper Brady, Ph.D.
Casper is a Senior Scientist at HGenium and was a member of the founding technical team. He earned his B.S. and Ph.D. degrees in chemical engineering at the New Mexico Institute of Mining & Technology in 2015 and the University of Delaware in 2020 respectively. His doctoral research focused on applying metal oxide redox chemistries as novel process engineering tools to solve emerging problems in the energy space (thermochemical water splitting, CO2 capture, and methane upgrading).

Nate Thomas, Ph.D.
Nate Thomas earned his PhD in Materials Science at Caltech in 2019, researching radiative thermal properties of materials. He has since worked at climate tech startups, leading teams focused on computational modeling of concentrating solar thermal and nuclear power systems. An active Caltech alum, Nate currently sits on the board of directors for the Caltech Y.

Mark E. Davis, Ph.D.
Mark E. Davis is the Warren and Katharine Schlinger Professor of Chemical Engineering at the California Institute of Technology. He has been elected to all the US National Academies (Engineering, Sciences, Medicine, and Inventors). In 2014, he received the Prince of Asturias Award for Technical and Scientific Research from the King of Spain. He is the scientific founder of six high technology companies and has been a member of numerous scientific advisory boards. Professor Davis has achieved All American Status for Masters Track and Field in the 400, 200 and 100 Meter Dashes. In 2011, he won the 400 Meter Dash for men of age 55 and older at the Masters World Championship.

Allen Morgan
Allen Morgan is Chairman, President, and CEO of Idealab NY, Inc., and Managing Director of Idealabx1, L.P., as well as a Board member of Idealab Studio.
Previously, he was a Managing Director at Mayfield Fund.
Prior to joining Mayfield, Mr. Morgan practiced law in Silicon Valley, and was a Partner at Latham & Watkins, and, prior to that, at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati.
He earned an undergraduate degree (summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa) from Dartmouth College, a second B.A. and an M.A. from the University of Oxford (Christ Church), and a J.D. from the University of Virginia. Mr. Morgan is an Associate Fellow at the Said Graduate Business School at the University of Oxford, where he teaches two full-credit courses on venture capital financing.
